The chair was made for PLASTIC 2000 - Visions from Recycled Plastics - a Project of DKR (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Kunststoff - Recycling GmbH) and so is historically important in terms of the beginning of sustainable furniture and its relationship with the Green Movement in Germany.
